In partnership with Leave Out Violence (LOVE), BC and Neworld Theatre<\/h3>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

In partnership with Neworld Theatre<\/strong> and Leave Out Violence<\/strong>\u00a0BC<\/strong> (LOVE<\/strong>), Rough House<\/strong> produced a community-engaged development and presentation program. This six-month program culminated in a public multimedia performance entitled\u00a0Smile! You\u2019re on \u00a0Camera.<\/i>\u00a0<\/p>\n

A bricolage of interviews and personal stories gathered from\u00a0LOVE BC<\/strong> youth,\u00a0Smile! You\u2019re On Camera<\/i>\u00a0is a cross-examination of police harassment and state surveillance as experienced by young people in their everyday lives.\u00a0<\/i>Devised in collaboration with 33 diverse at-risk youth\u00a0LOVE participants.\u00a0Smile! You\u2019re on \u00a0Camera!\u00a0<\/i>was presented at Car Free Day (Main St) as a six hour durational performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
