Smile! You're On Camera

In partnership with Neworld Theatre and Leave Out Violence BC (LOVE), Rough House produced a community-engaged development and presentation program. This six-month program culminated in a public multimedia performance entitled Smile! You’re on  Camera. 

A bricolage of interviews and personal stories gathered from LOVE BC youth, Smile! You’re On Camera is a cross-examination of police harassment and state surveillance as experienced by young people in their everyday lives. Devised in collaboration with 33 diverse at-risk youth LOVE participants. Smile! You’re on  Camera! was presented at Car Free Day (Main St) as a six hour durational performance.
